Winter 2009: Graphic Design and Calligraphy: students will learn to letter, and then design projects such as greeting cards, posters, comics and other designs using lettering. Middle and upper classes will use calligraphy pens.
Spring 2009: Styles of Art Through the Ages: This class explores major art styles such as pointillism, realism, impressionism, and allows students to try each style of art discussed.
We are currently taking signups for the WinterArt Classes.. Click here to sign up. Calligraphy and Graphic Design will begin the week of January 14th and meet for seven weeks (We will be off the last week of February). The class will cover basic lettering styles, layout and design principles, and projects involving lettering and illustration, such as greeting cards, posters, comics,signs, monograms, and calligraphs. Signups are being accepted now. Gloria would like to know of your registration by early January so she can plan for supplies. The art festival will be held on Friday, March 7th. The cost for the seven week classes is $65 for the first child and $5 less for each additional child. (ie.
